God's Little One

This is one of God's most incredible knitting jobs I have ever seen Him do...please meet my cousin twice removed...Audrey...isn't she **beautiful**?!? God definitely outdid Himself when He made her!! The world has it all wrong...beauty does not lie in brains nor brawn...but rather God's creative hand in all things, great as well as small...many times the very small. When I look at Audrey, I think of:

"The LORD said, 'Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the LORD, for the LORD is about to pass by.' Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the LORD, but the LORD was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the LORD was not in the earthquake. After the earthquake came a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper." ~1 King 19:11-12

Audrey is that whisper of God that passes by...letting the world know, minute by minute, through all her ups and downs within her little human form...that a good and gracious and wonderful God exists. Can you see Him in her?...I can.

At this Christmastime, I think of how the world looked for a majestic King to show His might & power, and yet He sent us a tiny, helpless baby in a manger. That is what I think God did with Audrey...his might & power shown through a baby with multiple problems in the world's eyes, but oh so very significant, and "just right" in God's. While many "oohed and ahhed" seventeen months ago, in nurseries all around the world...over all the "normal" babies born that day...God especially oohed and ahhed over this little one. And He has not ceased being delighted since!! I would tell today's culture, if you were to look with the eyes of God, you would truly see how very significant Audrey really is...all you have to do is look, and you can't help but see. As Goldilocks discovered, it was the little bowl, and the little chair, and the little bed, that was "just right".

As God brings them to mind, please keep Kyle, Kelly, Audrey, and the rest of their family in your prayers. If you'd like to read more about the journey God has them on, you can click
