Contentment in light of eternity

As I mentioned this weekend, our prior house sale fell through on Friday. In last night's devotion from Tabletalk, David Murray states in his article, Dangerous Dollars, that "To build contentment, he (Paul) urges us to meditate especially on our empty-wallet departure from this world.... Contentment develops best in the light of eternity."

"Now godliness with contentment is great gain.  For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out." ~ 1 Tim. 6:6-7
