Heavenly watering...

I was sitting outside with our Yorkies a couple of days ago, and noticed this little flower...the first one up, in one of our flower beds near the front of our house. Up out of the dirt in such glorious form, it was...watered by His tender, loving care which brought it forth.
"Look up to-day, O parched plant, and open thy leaves and flowers for a heavenly watering." ~ Charles H. Spurgeon
"Awake, thou wintry earth...! Fair vernal flowers, laugh forth Your ancient gladness! Christ is risen." ~ Thomas Blackburn

Indeed He is.

Beautiful picture and great thoughts/quotes! I've been waiting for a pretty day to get out and photograph some plants outside too. This sure is an early spring we're
having, at least here in KY! Great capture.

Thanks Sam. That's the first one I've seen up so far.

Today was more wintry like, but by tomorrow I think it's supposed to be as spring again. I find this see-sawing of the weather, back and forth, rather fun. Even supposed to get a good t-storm this coming Sunday...will be great for afternoon reading. :)
